Wanda Kjar Hunt

I’m Wanda Kjar Hunt.  I have 3 sons and 8 grandchildren. I enjoy watching all of their sports and school activities whenever possible. I was raised and lived in Lexington NE Until 2005 when I moved to Kearney. I had a career in nursing for many years. I was the Telehealth Manager for 22 years at Good Samaritan Hospital. It was the first Telehealth service in Nebraska and expanded across Central and Western Nebraska.   After retiring I wanted to help my husband in his real estate business. I got licensed as a Realtor in 2019. My husband recently fully retired. I enjoyed working with clients to find that special home or helping them sell a home that had so many family memories. When Robert Fitzgerald called and asked if I’d like to be part of his First Team at Home Real Estate I said Yes!  My desire to help people was always a part of my life. When I was 3 years old, I knew that I’d grow up and be a nurse and a Mommy! I continue to help people by volunteering at church, helping those with medical problems or by providing support wherever I’m needed.  So, helping people to find a home or selling a home just fits with my calling.  I just enjoy people and that’s my passion.
